Oil tanker Fortune, owned by the National Oil Tanker Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran, entered ISOICO dry dock for periodic repairs.
According to the communication and international affairs department of the Iran Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Complex, on Friday, November 27, 1401, the FORTUNE oil tanker entered the dry dock of this industrial complex for periodic repairs.
This oil tanker with technical specifications: 176 meters long, 31 meters wide, 17 meters high and 25 thousand tons of gross weight is one of the five oil tankers of Iran’s National Oil Tanker Company, which arrived in this country about three years ago after carrying out repairs in ISOICO to carry out the mission of transporting gasoline to Venezuela. to show the authority of Islamic Iran to the world once again. Sheet metal replacement, paint and sandblasting, overhaul of the main engine, deck machinery, accommodation, generators, electric motors, pumps and pipes, valves and steelwork are among the main repairs that are carried out on this vessel within a period of 32 days.
With an area of 1,100 hectares, ISOICO is considered the largest marine infrastructure in the country, and with the use of unique workshops and specialized manpower, it has the ability to design, build and repair any size of vessel and offshore structure.
